"We approached Alltraders because of their affiliations within the steel building industry. Alltraders took our outdated hard to use platform and transformed it into one of the most user friendly systems available today.
The results have been outstanding sales, a now large user base and an ease of use we didn’t think possible that our clients love.
One thing we think makes Alltraders stand out from the crowd is their willingness to understand our business operations to help us make the right decisions while developing our platform.
I would recommend Alltraders to any company big or small for any IT project they have in mind."
David Phillips, Shed development Manager at Shed Plus, Metroll Group
CareTrack Kids
"The CareTrack Australia team were looking to develop an interactive database (wiki) for experts to comment on and score clinical indicators, representative of ‘appropriate healthcare’ for children.
We chose to engage Alltraders based on some previous work they had undertaken for one of our professional affiliates, the Australian Patient Safety Foundation.
Alltraders were able to design and deliver a wiki in accordance with our required functional specifications, and within budget. They were available at each stage of the development process to assist with user-testing before the database went live, and to timely troubleshoot any issues during the live-time."

Choosing a successful lead management system
If you are an owner or manager of a business that provides goods and/or services to customers in a competitive market, then chances are you are acutely aware of the value of a lead.
Many articles have been written on lead generation but what about when that oh-so-valuable lead finally comes along? What process is in place to ensure that it is recorded, worked thoroughly and hopefully converted into a quote and eventually a sale?
Having invested heavily in the lead generation strategy, what lead management system do you use to ensure that the investment has the best chance to provide a return?
If your lead management system consists of rough notes on backs of envelopes placed on the pile of paperwork on the sales manager’s desk - or similar - it may not surprise you that research shows that up to 55% of small businesses don’t follow up on new leads.
Investing in an electronic, cloud based lead management system would seem the answer to protecting the investment that has been made in generating the leads. So what should one look for when researching the myriad of lead management options that are available?
A successful lead management system may vary from a shared, stand-alone spreadsheet to a fully integrated and customizable CRM system. In all cases the following points should be considered and applied to all options before the final decision is made.

Please support us in the World’s Greatest Shave 2012
World's Greatest Shave is only two weeks away, and as you may know, a number of Alltraders staff members are curently participating in this year's World's Greatest Shave, a charity event to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation.
We aim to raise $5000, and have already achieved 31% of this goal through your kind donations, but we still need your help! This time last week, Alltraders was in the top ten South Australian teams (#8), and one of our two big bosses, CIO Michael O'Loughlin, with 30% of his $2500 goal already reached, was within the state's top 50. We've since slipped down the ladder, and we all want to see Michael bald (check the comments on his shave page), so give generously - it's for a great cause too.
Also, you may not know that shaving is not the only option at the World's Greatest Shave, and not all Alltraders members will be shaving. So instead of shaving, what are our participating team members going to do?
Please Donate
"Today, 31 Australians will get the news they have blood cancer. Your donation will support them from the moment they are diagnosed."
The following partitipants will be changing their appearance in the following ways for the World's Greatest Shave:
- Michael O'Loughlin will become completely bald - only if his target of $2500 is met
- Eli Burford will have his head shaved
- Cohen Gum will have his chest waxed
- Michael Garratt will have his head shaved
- Jared Green will have his head shaved
- August Boehm will have his hair bleached
- Shaun Dwyer will have his head shaved
It's easy to make a donation, and you can remain anonymous if you wish. Simply go to any of the participating member's pages above or to the Alltraders team page, and click the orange "Sponsor Me" button on the top left of the page.
Why not come and watch? Come to our event and make a donation on the day. The time and location of our associated haircuts, hair colouring and chest waxing will be announced soon.
World's Greatest Shave raises funds for the Leukaemia Foundation's important work – providing free practical and emotional support to people with blood cancer and their families, as well as investing millions in research.
You only have until mid March to make a donation, so be quick and make it count!
Alltraders claims Top Four spot on SA Fast Movers List
Australian software developer Alltraders is the fourth fast-growing company in South Australia, based on the company's first appearance on the Fast Movers list of rapidly-growing SA businesses.
The accolade, announced Friday, comes just three years after its owners, Ben Horner and Michael O'Loughlin, began running it as a full-time business. Alltraders, which has 20 employees and a turnover of about $1.5 million, recorded year-on-year growth of more than 80 per cent.
Complied annually by inBusiness magazine, the Fast Mover SA Company Index recognises 150 of the fastest-growing businesses based in SA.

Cloud beckons Alltraders after five years of growth
After averaging 500 per cent growth a year since buying a web hosting business online, Michael O’Loughlin and Ben Horner are now preparing their company, Alltraders, for the Cloud.
With sales worth $1.5 million a year in Australia and overseas, Alltraders employs 20 people to design and deliver business applications as well as develop and host easy-to-manage Joomla! websites.
Mr. O’Loughlin and Mr. Horner bought the Alltraders webhosting business with 20 clients in 2006 when Adelaide entrepreneur Vic Ratnieks sold it to focus on his other businesses. Several years later, the new Alltraders recruited Mr. Ratnieks to use his expertise in project management to help win and run larger software contracts.
As Alltraders enters its sixth year of operation, Mr. Horner has accepted the role of Chief Executive Officer while Mr. O’Loughlin has become Chief Information Officer. As well as running Alltraders, they have actively invested in developing other businesses including the online engineering certification service Prompt Engineering.
Alltraders is also merging its software engineering and web hosting divisions to better meet demand for software applications in the Cloud. The Cloud refers to online-hosted applications that are accessible from any Internet-connected device and often purchased as a service.
Alltraders Foosball Championship 2011
Earlier this year, Alltraders held an internal staff foosball championship. All departments of the company were involved, although it initially started as a software vs web department.
The following video shows highlights of the Grand final, played between Jeremy and Michael.
Celebratory Citizenship Cheesecake
Well not quite cheesecake, but pavlova was the key award of choice as our newest Alltraders team member BJ recently celebrated receiving his Official Australian Citizenship.
Work stopped for a moment to mark the occasion and hear BJ's speech on his impressive history, followed by the presentation to Birendra of a large pavlova (from the Cheesecake Shop), together with perhaps the most iconic edible Australiana goodies - a platter of Vegemite. One of our managers, Vic presented BJ with the goods, which were thoroughly and enjoyably consumed within a short space of time.
From everyone at Alltraders, we congratulate you, BJ!
